Jul. 2nd, 2010 10:10 amAs you might know it was Canada Day yesterday so I took it rather easy! I beta'd two fics, wrote a fic, visited my gran, tried on party dresses at a warehouse sale, and spent a good deal of time bonding with the futon and my s.o.
Why men are attracted to women with small feet - Hm. I have unusually large feet for a woman and I've never had a hard time attracting men. Or ladies of a certain disposition. Then again, I'd rather avoid being instantly attractive to the majority of people. I sometimes forget, having surrounded myself with interesting and talented people, that the majority of people are boring.
I was watching a show about a small town filled with simple folk who have simple ambitions. It sounds endearing in my head until I realize all that simplicity makes for boring conversations and loads of gossip about other people.
I suppose what it boils down to is who are you and what do you look for in a community? I look for high-speed Internet, interesting people, and good food.
What really kills me is I had to apologize to C. for catcalling him on his steadfast refusal to move back to a small town. You were right, honey. I may have come from a small town but unless it's a really quirky community I doubt I can go back to one.

I am in love with everything in this shop. I'm especially in love with a custom hand-lettered shop sign! Man, I would very much like a custom sign for my studio/office.

Fox News Criticises Wonder Woman For Lack Of Patriotism. Comments Say She’s A Communist. I need to lift weights more. I am not strong enough for all the *facepalm* this inspires.
This is a reminder to myself to save up for my Clarisonic.
