Shut up and get to work - HAHA! I think I'll make this my default page for when my browser opens up.
Marriage officials can't refuse gays: Sask. court - HA! Yes! If you are a doctor or a public servant I do not feel your personal beliefs should matter. You serve the public and that means serving the public objectively.
Not everyone agrees. - I have to add that my heart is warmed with pride for my Country when I read the majority of the comments supporting the idea that civil servants perform a secular job and their religious beliefs have nothing to do with the tasks they are hired to perform. Yay, Canada!
I had asked my old doctor about getting an IUD and he pretty much told me he thought young women asking for an IUD were sluts and he didn't exactly make the procedure gentle on them. I was horrified and never went back to him. How DARE he make a procedure more painful for a person because of some moral judgment he holds over them? I still feel sick thinking about it.
Stephen Fry on language [video] - I have to confess I take great delight in netspeak and textspeak and I very much enjoy weirding language.
Kathie Lee attempts to slut-shame Snooki - I agree with one of the comments... when Kathie asked if she could give Snooki 'motherly advice', Snooki should have said, 'no'. What Snooki does is none of your business, Kathie Lee, especially when you give her advice on television. Do your job and keep your preaching for Sundays or your own home.
Ugh. Sometimes I enjoy the more laid-back interview style that's so popular these days and other times I wistfully think of a more formal interview where you'd keep your opinions to yourself and keep the interview about the person you're interviewing.
